Federal election signs go up in the Village of Limoges

electionsThe first 2015 federal electoral signs have been posted in the Village of Limoges, Ontario. The first four signs on Limoges Street were spotted on Sunday, Aug. 16.

The Canadian election will take place on Oct. 19, 2015. Residents in the Village of Limoges will vote as part of the Glengarry-Prescott-Russell riding.

There will be at least three candidates for Glengarry-Prescott-Russell: Francis Drouin, Liberal Party; Normand Laurin, NDP; and Pierre Lemieux, PC. The Green Party of Canada has yet to name a candidate for the region.

Both Drouin and Laurin are new to the federal elections while Mr. Lemieux has won the last three elections in Glengarry-Prescott-Russell.
