Limoges waits, and waits, for new Froster machine

LimogesLocal residents have now waited more than seven months for Circle K to bring their popular Froster machine to the Village of Limoges. With the Summer of 2018 presumably just around the corner, some residents are getting anxious as to when they will be able to mix their favourite flavours like Cream Soda, Cherry Coke, Dr. Pepper, and Orange Crush without leaving the village.

A Froster is an “icy cold, fabulously flavoured, dangerously addictive refreshment,” otherwise promoted as the “the signature beverage offering from Circle K.” A small Froster sells for just $1.69.

Circle K took over ownership of the Limoges Ultramar gas station and corner store at 715 Limoges Road on Aug. 14, 2017. At the time, the corner store sold Slush Puppies. Sugary flavours included Blue Raspberry, Cherry, Pineapple-Mango, and Dragon Fruit.

While Slush Puppies are still sold just north of the Circle K store at 715 Limoges Road (the Food Mart, just 1.4km north), they are no longer available at the corner of Limoges & Calypso Road. While the Circle K store seemingly has space for a new Froster machine along one of its walls, there has been no announced schedule as to when Circle K will bring their signature beverage to the Village of Limoges.
