McCuaig plans retirement, Brizard picked as Clerk

Josée Brizard has been picked to succeed Mary McCuaig as The Nation Municipality’s Clerk. Brizard will assume her new position in January 2017 while McCuaig will retire in February.

Ms. Brizard has worked at the South Nation Conservation as Team Lead and has more recently worked at The Nation Municipality in a seconded role in 2016.

The Nation Municipality announced that McCuaig, Clerk and Chief Administrative Officer, “intends to officially retire at the end of February 2017.”

The Nation Municipality includes the east side and north corner of the Village of Limoges (Ward 4). The Village of Limoges is a growing eastern Ontario community located just outside the edge of Canada’s capital City of Ottawa, also bordering the great Larose Forest.
