LimogesRed flower pots and yellow morning glories have brightened a war cenotaph in the Village of Limoges. The flowers were added this spring, with red pots added on either side of the cenotaph located at the corner of Limoges Road and Mabel Road.

Limoges Remembrance Day Monument was erected nearly 30 years ago on 11 November 1988. The cenotaph remembers Canada’s participation in three wars: World War One (1914-18), World War Two (1939-45), and the Korean War (1950-53). The cenotaph also honours the names of 30 local heroes.

The annual Village Limoges Remembrance Day still takes place every year in front of the monument.

The flower pots were added in Spring 2017.
