OasisOasis Mini Golf & Driving Range will host their second annual Golf Skills Competition to benefit CHEO Foundation. The two-day event challenges golfers in five different events, with participants open to participate on either Saturday Aug. 13 or Sunday Aug. 14.

According to the rules, each participant will be given three balls for each of the five events: longest drive, long-game precision, short-game precision, sand trap precision, and putting. Winners will be selected from three categories: men, women, and junior.

Overall winners in each category will receive a season pass to Oasis Mini Golf & Driving Range for the 2016 season. Details of the event are published on oasisgolf.ca.

The cost to enter the event is $25. Proceeds benefit CHEO Foundation for the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario.

Family owned and operated by Dumond Development Inc., Oasis Mini Golf & Driving Range in the Village of Limoges features an “18-hole miniature golf course” as well as “a 300 yard driving range with large distance markers and targets.” There is also a yummy cantine with “hot dogs, fries, poutine, ice cream (and) snacks and drinks.”
