road workCity of Ottawa workers have provided a new strip of yellow paint on Indian Creek Road in the north section of the Village of Limoges. The new lines were painted on Monday morning, Sep. 21, 2015.

Shortly after lunch, The Nation Municipality workers were out to take down an outdated sign that will be replaced in the near future. The old blue sign was taken down while the two standing posts were painted black, matching a similar task that has been performed throughout the community since last year.

Indian Creek Road is a border street that features residents in both the City of Ottawa and The Nation Municipality. Residents on the north side of the street live in Ottawa while residents on the south side live in The Nation.

Indian Creek Road is not too long, starting just after the north-east bend from Limoges Road. The yellow lines were painted east to the end of the concrete section of Indian Creek Road (after which the road turns to dirt on the way to Larose Forest and the ghost town of Grant).
