About the Terry Fox Run
For over 30 years The Terry Fox Foundation has worked to achieve Terry’s vision – a world without cancer. Our researchers, our staff and our thousands of volunteers are determined to reach that goal. We strive daily to uphold Terry’s ideals and values in everything we do – and we always will.

About Katie Davidson
Katie Davidson was diagnosed with stage II breast cancer when she was 26. After being in remission for four years, the cancer returned, but this time it had spread. She has been on a clinical trial since her recurrence and her oncology team is working hard to extend her life. She has a positive outlook on life but is realistic about there being no cure, yet.

Village Limoges Event
There are two courses that start at the northwest corner of Parc Rodolphe-Latreille on the walking path at the new “000” metre marking.

The 5km course starts in the park heading towards Joiner Bridge, then continues along the community streets from the end of South Indian Drive (left, left, right, right, left, left, right, right) before returning for one final loop inside the park.

The 3km section on the road starts at the end of South Indian Drive. The course turns:
– Left on Constantineau, then left on Linda and around the bend,
– Right on Maurice, then right on Linda,
– Left on Constantineau, then left on South Indian Drive,
– Right on Des Pins, then right on Bénévoles and back into the park.

The 1.7km course is set completely within the north section of the park so that parents or grandparents can watch their youngest runners from start to finish. This course will circle the 600-metre path nearly three times and finish next to the north gazebo.

Participants may also decide to extend their course by adding extra loops on the 600-metre path (the park path is now marked every 100 metres).

All registered participants who complete their course will receive a Terry Fox Run ribbon.

Registration and Donations
We will have the 2017 Terry Fox Run entry forms available on site at the Parc Rodolphe-Latreille north gazebo (near Des Pins Road). The form has three options:
– make a personal donation on site (cash or cheque made payable to the “Terry Fox Run Foundation”);
– submit a completed pledge sheet with funds (pledge sheets are available in Limoges and surrounding areas);
– pledge sheet and money still to come (participant will submit funds to a chartered bank).

Participants can also register and donate online on the Terry Fox Run Village Limoges sponsor page.
