The Nation marks metres on Limoges park trail

Posted on 28th August 2017 by monlimoges in Limoges & Forest,Village of Limoges

LimogesThe Nation Municipality has added metre markings around a trail at Parc Rodolphe-Latreille in Village Limoges. The 100-metre markings run from “000” to “600” metres in the north end of the park starting near the corner of Des Pins and Bénévoles streets.

The 600-metre “track” starts along the north end of the park (north of the skate park) before running south along a tree line at the east end of the park. After running just south of the Limoges Pavillon, the track turns inwards and back north, passing the Limoges Pavillon, the splash pad, and play structure before finishing back where the track started.

Walkers, runners, skateboarders, rollerbladers, scooter riders, and cyclists are actively enjoying the newly-marked track, as are enthusiasts that walk their dogs, their baby strollers, or portage their canoes (just in case you wanted to do that). On Sep. 17, the track will be used as part of the 2017 Terry Fox Run in Village Limoges.
