LimogesThe Nation Municipality has paved Beaver Lane in the north corner of Village Limoges. The street-long project – less than a kilometre in length – was started and completed all in the same day in June 2018.

The new pavement is another welcome improvement for local residents in Village Limoges. Just last year, The Nation Municipality and Russell Township completed a paving project of Limoges Road, with the main part of the road completed in September 2016 and the north end of the road completed in May 2017. Also in 2017, Russell Township paved King Street

Three years ago, a five-way intersection on Limoges Road was turned into a four-way intersection near Main Street. In 2016 and 2017, there was significant rehabilitation work on Limoges Road at the 417 Underpass.

Village Limoges is a young, endearing community nestled at the doorstep of Canada’s national capital region. Straddling both The Nation Municipality and Russell Township, the village borders the great Larose Forest, one of Ontario’s largest forests. As part of both municipalities, the village sits in the United Counties of Prescott and Russell.
