LimogesThe Village of Limoges will celebrate their fifth annual Christmas Parade of Lights on Saturday, Dec. 9. The 2017 parade will start at 6:30pm from the corner of Limoges Road and Mabel Street.

The parade is organised by the Optimist Club of Limoges. Non-perishable food items will be collected during the parade. The parade will go from Mabel to Des Pins and finish at the Parc Rodolph Latreille. Floats travel at a maximum speed of 5km/h. Spectators are asked to refrain from parking on Mabel and Herbert (from Limoges Road to Main) from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.

Like last year, there will be free hot chocolate handed out by the Limoges Optimist Club at the corner of Mabel and Main. Smaller volunteers will help distribute candy canes.

As he does every year, Santa Claus will make a guest appearance as the star of the Limoges parade. Santa’s reindeer, however, remain in the North Pole as they prepare for Christmas eve.
